This Organization was formed for the purpose of advancing the interest of the membership of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen (BLET) and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen Auxiliary (BLET Auxiliary) of Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Iowa and Dupo and Belleville, Illinois, hereinafter known as the Southwest Region.  Also, the purpose of this Organization is to create and maintain harmony and the spirit of fraternal love and otherwise to promote the general welfare of these two great Organizations.
